🙋Call for Candidates

JEF Europe are launching a Call for Candidates for Statutory Positions for the 2024-2025 mandate. Candidacies will be presented and voted upon during the XXVII European Congress in Madrid, Spain.

Open Statutory Positions

Statutory positions open for candidacies are the following:

• Executive Board:

  • President (1 person)

  • Vice-President (2 persons)

  • Treasurer (1 person)

  • Executive Board Member (4 persons)

• Directly elected Federal Committee Member (16 persons)

• Arbitration Board (5 persons)

• Auditors’ Committee (2-3 persons)

As per the statutes of JEF Europe, there is no set deadline to apply to the positions. All candidacies submitted by 4th October 2023 at 23:59 CEST will be published on the EUCO23 website (more information on this soon) by 8th October 2023. After this cutoff date, candidacies will be published on the website up to 3 working days after their submission.

Application Guidelines

Please use this application form (in .doc here and in .pdf here) to submit your candidacy for any of the following positions. More role-specific guidelines are detailed below.

President Please fill in the application form with the information that is specified in it, and send it to [email protected] and [email protected]. Maximum length: 3 A4 pages. Besides this, please share a 5-minute video to attach to your application, and it will be shared on the Congress website. Ideally, the video should be shared in an mp4 format, with horizontal/portrait orientation.

Vice-President Please fill in the application form with the information that is specified in it, and send it to [email protected] and [email protected]. Maximum length: 2 A4 pages. (font size) Besides this, please share a 3-minute video to attach to your application, and it will be shared on the Congress website. Ideally, the video should be shared in an mp4 format, with horizontal/portrait orientation.

Treasurer Please fill in the application form with the information that is specified in it, and send it to [email protected] and [email protected]. Maximum length: 2 A4 pages. Besides this, please share a 3-minute video to attach to your application, and it will be shared on the Congress website. Ideally, the video should be shared in an mp4 format, with horizontal/portrait orientation.

Auditors’ Committee Please fill in the application form with the information that is specified in it, and send it to [email protected] and [email protected] together with a picture. Maximum length: 1 A4 page.
